This is the 3rd installment in the Day of Sacrifice series and I'll tell ya... I can't get enough. Each novella has brought to life new characters that I almost instantly fall in love with. This installment helps you get to know Fauna and Clark. Both characters have been around since the first novella, but now you get to delve deeper into their relationship and the love that they share.Honestly, I'm horrible at reviews. I never seem to do the book and author justice. Trust me when I say (or type) that everything I have read from S.W. Benefiel has been fantastic. I love the way she brings me into the worlds she creates. I cannot wait for the next one.

Another great story in the Day of Sacrifice series. I loved all the crazy twists as they...well, I don't want to spoil it for anyone. 0) It was a lot of fun trying to keep up with things, and it made this story very interesting. Another hard one to put down!
This Novella is part of a six part series, In this installment the central Character of the series's twin sister and boyfriend are captured, the Angel working for the Gods tries to reprogram their minds to become spies against the rebellion they support and turn them against each other. Will their will be enough to go against the Gods that demand their charges be sacrificed on their 21st birthday, still virgins so their families can garner some blessings from the Gods. They have joined a rebellion and must try to find a way to return to their cause. The twists and turns and mind games are not easy on the pair can they manage to get back to the relationship they had? S.W. Benefiel writes a great small story that fits in great with the larger story the six books tell. Great reading for a lunch hour or just relaxation before bed. It does have some light , but tasteful sex scenes so it is an Adult Novella, but an entertaining read that I think you will enjoy. The over all concept of the books is a rebellion against the sacrifice of the lives of the families of the supernatural community and each of the six books stay true to theme.
I really LOVE all the DOS (Day of Sacrifice) books. They are short reads for me. I the first 3 in one day. I am really excited for the next one.
Dormant is my favorite of the DoS series so far. I'm horrible at reviews, my mind only seems to register whether or not I loved or hated a book, so all I'm going to say is if you haven't read any of the DoS books, you must get all three right now!
